"For a New America"
Tax Reform
Taxes are a necessary presence in any government, as they allow our government to function. However, America is a land of private property and private enterprise, and if there is one thing a person should have total autonomy over, it should be their hard earned money. In the past, high taxes have put the fate of our success wholly in the hands of our government, but I believe this shouldn’t be the case.

Our taxation policies will be firmly rooted in an overall reduction in the amount that Americans pay to their government and putting more money in the hands of the people. First we propose a flat, fair, and friendly income tax on all American citizens. A flat income tax rate will fairly distribute the weight of national taxes throughout the people, and we will ensure that the tax is a friendly one, one that guarantees the people the right to their hard earned money. In fact, Investopedia finds that tax cuts are often associated with high levels of economic growth, which helps everybody have more money. While other candidates may offer a graduated income tax, that option does nothing to solve the problem. These candidates want to take the hard-earned money of hardworking Americans and use it to fund social programs that fail to create the same benefits as people simply having money in their pockets. That taxation keeps the rich and poor exactly where there are, whereas our fair, flat, and friendly tax allows people in the lower class to have greater participation in our economy, and when more people can participate, incredible growth is created for our economy.
